Transylvania Gym & Soccer is committed to providing quality instruction in a fun-filled atmosphere. Our main goal is to have every player develop to the best soccer skills and knowledge of the game and succeed in soccer, sports and life!
Transylvania Gym & Soccer makes the average player very good and the good player great. Transylvania Soccer accomplishes this with experienced coaches, with expertise in both soccer and youth sports training. This is a great combination that makes Transylvania unparalleled in youth soccer coaching – and the results speak for themselves.

Transylvania Gym & Soccer has developed flexible programs that include age appropriate activities and games, progressive match play corresponding to age, level and experience.

Pre-Travel Ages (soccer tots, kindergarten to 1st grade, children ages 4 – 6) programs are mainly oriented to learn & develop fundamental skills and field sense (player’s position, attacking/defending).

Starting with ages 7 (teams U8 – U19, boys & girls) most advance players will be selected to play at competitive leagues (for example travel, regional, etc).

Ages 4-5 (Soccer tots & Kindergarten)
– Teaching will be focused on the ball control, turning, dribbling and shooting.
– Passes for possession
– Learning fundamental skills

Ages 6-7 (First grade)
– Concentration on changing direction, pace of run, faints, shielding, dribbling and passing for possession, also power shooting.
– Technical ability with the ball
– Consolidate fundamental skills

Ages 7-8 (Second grade)
– Systematic improvement and consolidation of various sequences of movement.
– Support attacking/defending
– Strengthening shooting and footwork skills.
– Feel for match rhythm
– Performing fundamental skills , field sense/desire, at most competitive level (travel teams)

Ages 9-10 (third & forth grade)
– Solidifying advance techniques under time, space and opposition pressure.
– Tactical planning individual and group training.
– Consolidation and improve condition with motivational, soccer-specific exercises.
– Performing fundamental skills , field sense/desire, at most competitive level (travel teams)

Ages 11-12 (fifth & sixth grade)
– Solidify, refine and perfect basic technique and tactics; and adapt them to higher demands of match play.
– Develop team play-Tactical Functional training.
– Speed of play.
– Performing fundamental skills , field sense/desire, at most competitive level (travel teams)

Ages 13-14 (seventh & eight grade)
– Tactical Implication of Technique

Ages 15-19 (High School to College/University players)
