Session 1 - DANBURY - Park Avenue School

                              August7th to August 11th, 2006 

 (From 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM ;PLEASE SEE THE SCHEDULE DEVIDED BY AGES)

 MISSION STATEMENT

The Transylvania Soccer camp is committed to providing quality instruction in a fun-filled atmosphere. Our organizational goal is to have every player leave with better soccer skills than when they arrived. We hope they will continue to learn and be inspired by the knowledge and skills they acquire.

FOR ALL SKILL LEVELS

We have developed flexible programs for all ages with contain of most appropriate drills and games, the progressive match play with ages, level and experience of play.

Ages 5-6

• Teaching will be focused on the ball control, turning, dribbling and shooting.

• Concentration on changing direction, pace of run, faints, shielding, dribbling and passing for possession, also power shooting,

Ages 9-10 

• Systematic improvement and consolidation of various sequences of movement.

• Emphasis on technique refinement.

• Strengthening shooting and footwork skills.

Ages 11-12

•   Solidifying advance techniques under time, space and opposition pressure.

•   Tactical planning individual and group training.

•   Consolidation and improve condition with motivational, soccer-specific exercises.

Ages 13-14

• Solidify, refine and perfect basic technique and tactics; and adapt them to higher demands of match play.

•  Develop team play-Tactical training.

• Specific and most appropriate fitness training.

DROP OFF & PICKUP:

 Please arrive on time so that adequate time is allowed for warm up and stretching.

 Children who are picked up late after camp ended,  will be charged $15 for every 20 minutes.

Equipment

Each camper should wear suitable athletic clothing.

Shin guards are required, and soccer shoes /cleats are recommended. A ball will be provided for each camper, but if campers choose to bring their own ball make sure that it is clearly labeled with a name.

Pricing:

• $115.00 - CHAMPIONS  (4:00 - 7:00 PM, Boys and Girls Ages 6 to 14)

A camp    T-Shirt and a ball will be offered for each camper to keep.
