q       Session 1 – YORKTOWN – Community and Cultural Center

August 2nd to August 6th, 2010 (Monday to Friday)

 – 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM -

 

q       Session 2 –YORKTOWN – Community and Cultural Center

 August 9th to August 13th, 2010 Monday to Friday

– 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM -                          

GENERAL INFORMATION

     DROP OFF & PICKUP:

 

Ø Please arrive on time so that adequate time is allowed for

     Warm - up and stretching.

Ø Late pick ups will be charged $15 for every 20 minutes

     After camp has ended.  

 

   Equipment

 

Each camper should wear suitable athletic clothing.

Shin guards are required, and soccer shoes /cleats are recommended. A ball will be provided for each camper, but if campers choose to bring their own ball make sure that it is clearly labeled with a name.

 

  Pricing:

 

q       $150.00 – 9:00 – 12:00 PM, Boys and Girls Ages 5 to 14. This is a ½ DAY Program.

 

A Camp T-shirt and a soccer ball will be offered to each camper to keep. Please send checks, along with completed registration and signed waiver form, to:

Waiver of Liability/ Emergency Authorization

 

To induce the Town of Yorktown and Transylvania Gym & Soccer LLC to accept registration and permit participation in the Town of Yorktown and Transylvania Gym & Soccer LLC’s activities by the above named player. I player’s parent /guardian, hereby give my consent to his / her participation and agree to release, indemnify, and hold harmless, the Town of Yorktown and Transylvania Gym & Soccer LLC, their officers, directors instructors/coaches, and representatives from any claim or liability involving any injury to the above player arising out of the Town of Yorktown and Transylvania Gym & Soccer LLC’s activities.

 

In case of emergency I hereby authorize treatment and care of player by any hospital, doctor, or emergency or ambulance association.

MISSION STATEMENT

The Transylvania Soccer camp is committed to providing quality instruction in a fun-filled atmosphere. Our organizational goal is to have every player leave with better soccer skills than when they arrived. We hope they will continue to learn and be inspired by the knowledge and skills they acquire.

 

FOR ALL SKILL LEVELS

We have developed flexible programs for all ages with contain of most appropriate drills and games, the progressive match play with ages, level and experience of play.

 

Ages 6

q       Teaching will be focused on the ball control, turning, dribbling and shooting.

 

Ages 7-8

q       Concentration on changing direction, pace of run, faints, shielding, dribbling and passing for possession, also power shooting.

 

Ages 9-10

q       Systematic improvement and consolidation of various sequences of movement.

q       Emphasis on technique refinement.

q       Strengthening shooting and footwork skills.

 

Ages 11-12

q       Solidifying advance techniques under time, space and opposition pressure.

q       Tactical planning individual and group training.

q       Consolidation and improve condition with motivational, soccer-specific exercises.

 

Ages 13-14

q       Solidify, refine and perfect basic technique and tactics; and adapt them to higher demands of match play.

q       Develop team play-Tactical Functional training.

q       Specific and most appropriate fitness training.

Successful career as a European player in Romania and Germany, coupled with teaching background in physical education has given Constantin the special ability to combine superior soccer knowledge with a unique approach to teaching youth players.
